1. How do I have to take care of my bamboo bike?
You can take care of your bike as you would do with any other. The frame is completely sealed with 3 layers of UV-stable clear varnish. So it can withstand intensive solar radiation and light hits. Light soap water cannot harm your zuri frame.
2. Is my bamboo bike prone to weather?
Bamboo is equipped by nature with a varnish like protective layer that makes is weatherproof and even resistant against fire or acid. Extreme conditions like long frost periods or extremely high temperatures should be avoided.
3. Can I safely carry my bamboo bike?
When you hold our bike in your hand for the first time and have made the first ride, this question will answer itself. Their frame is as stabile as any metal or carbon frame.
4.Which is the right size for me?
When you adjust the slides in the bike-configurator to your body measurements the matching frame size will be automatically recommended. When measuring the inside length of your legs please make sure to align your orientation line parallel to the floor. In general, sporty rider prefer a smaller frame size while riders demanding more comfort rather chose a larger frame.
5. Is the driving experience not completely shaky?
No, it is not. You will be surprised by how "normal" our frames feel during riding. Our frame wrapping made of hemp fiber and epoxy creates immense rigidity. Yet offers outstanding driving comfort with natural shock absorption that can experienced with a bamboo frame.
6. Can I drive sporty with my bamboo bike?
Of course. Our frames don't have to hide in terms of stability and fracture resistance compared to any metal or carbon frame. No matter if ambitious race bike tours or demanding trails in the alps - you can rely on your zuri frame. The frame is not build for extreme downhill rides that can only be managed with full-suspended bike.
